Conrad started this plein air watercolor painting in Paradise, Utah near 8700 S 200 W on the afternoon of June 30th. He & Paula spent three afternoons comfortably sitting on their camp chairs in the shade of a private lane & painted to their hearts content. Over 50 years ago Conrad’s brother-in-law (before he was Conrad’s brother-in-law) & Conrad worked summers for farmers in Paradise. Steve worked for Marion Olsen & Conrad worked for Fred Summers. They moved sprinkler pipe in the adjacent fields & filled Marion & Fred’s barns with thousands of bails of hay. In addition to painting, it was fun reflecting on these old memories.
