This is a reproduction of the original artwork Wm Conrad Bowen painted on a block of 4” x 6” Canson 140 lb cold press watercolor paper he can easily carry in his cargo pants pocket so he can start painting anywhere on the spot.

Conrad has a relative & real estate client who likes owls & ask him to paint a picture of an owl. Conrad has so many other images in his head he wants to paint that he couldn’t get around to doing it. He also wanted to start painting collages & one day an idea popped into his head to do a collage of owls & voila…he completed “Owls by Nature”. The original painting is small, but really noodled out. Maybe this rendition will influence a larger painting in oils or acrylics using the same subject matter or maybe it will be a springboard to the other collages he wants to paint still in his head.
