Conrad painted this watercolor sketch at grandma’s house in her backyard sitting on his fold-up camp chair under the shade of the crabapple tree with his Field Plus & Sketchers' Pocket Watercolors Sets spread out on a new mini-fold-up camp table. Zoe’s Chicken Coop has been around almost as long as “Dad’s Barn” (see entry under Places). Interesting, Conrad wasn’t inspired to paint this location until now.
