Over the Labor Day weekend, Conrad and Paula spent a couple of days in Moab, Utah with family. One morning while the kids & grandkids hiked up to Delicate Arch, Conrad and Paula took up residency in the shade of a bowery with a couple of picnic tables at the east parking lot. We couldn’t see the Arch from this view, but this Butte to the west stood out in the late morning sun. Itching to paint the red rocks of Southern Utah, Conrad pulled out his watercolor sketchbook and started to paint. Before the kids got back from their hike, Conrad had finished the painting.
