In May, Conrad & Paula considered a vacation, just to get away for a couple of days. They decided it was too hot to go south. They started looking into going north like say Yellowstone. Staying any place was expensive, though, more than they wanted to spend. One of their daughters suggested Park City, she said it was the off-season. They could get something much cheaper than Jackson Hole or the parks. She said she'd look for an AB&B for them. She found just the ticket for them and the drive was less than an hour from home. So in mid-June, they spent a 4-day weekend in and around Park City! Turned out to be a great vacation. They got to draw and paint the whole trip. The location is on the eastside of the Provo River just south of the river bridge on North River Road heading west into Midway, Utah. While they were setting up, a Momma moose and her calf run right into them on the path next to the river.
