In Mid-April 2023, Conrad slipped out on a beautiful, blustery afternoon & set up his easel in the back of his pickup & started this watercolor painting on location near Dick’s grocery market & 24 Boulton Way in Bountiful, Utah 84010. This old hay barn is a notable landmark in the neighborhood & has survived way beyond it’s intended purpose. While I painted, it creaked & groaned begging for needed attention. I wonder just how much longer it will endure before progress or the wind does it in?
