In Conrad’s journey of expression in art, ‘Preston & Dora’s Place represents the beginning of his love of painting with watercolors. It’s when he purchased his first real tubes of watercolor paints, a couple of watercolor paint trays with 3-mixing pans and 12-paint troughs each (an adequate number of colors to round out a balanced paint palette). Premium sable handmade Winsor Newton paint brushes were a coveted item, and he saved his money and bought two round Series 7 size 7 and size 4 brushes. It all cost a pretty penny, but it was worth it. The right tools really made a difference in his results! Fast-forward 50 years, and he still has the same watercolor trays and still uses a couple of the old paint brushes he purchased in that bygone era. Preston and Dora, who lived at 8790 S 300 W, Paradise, Utah have long-since passed on, but Preston and Kara and their 5-kids now live there. The exterior of the house hasn’t changed much, but the NEW Preston is renovating the interior of the house quite extensively.
